a happy little square

i love this.

it was summer 2006, annapolis, MD. I window shopped my way down the street while my boyfriend praddled on about how these towns are made for women. He believes men are second class citizens when it comes to stores. I agree with him and I like it. It would be nice to have a place to stick him while I peruse though.

i passed up buying this necklace. i’m not the kind of girl to drip all over jewelry. this necklace was so rustic and hammered. there was nothing flashy or ritzy about it. i passed up buying it because i always pass up buying everything. i hate spending money.

6 months later we went to saugatuck, MI. again–walking down the store front main street I spot the same necklace I saw in Annapolis. i have to leave my fingerprints all over it and swoon. do i buy it?

please.

for a year and a half i’ve pined over this bent up piece of silver. i hate it. there isn’t any reason I need a $250 pendant hanging off my neck. i really dont want it. but look.
